Workmanship Guarantee
We guarantee our workmanship that we undertake and carry out your work with care and skill, using quality materials that are suited for its purpose, and aim to complete your job within a timely manner. If you find a fault or defect with our workmanship, let us know within 12 months and we’ll resolve the problem for you, provided that
- The electrical work has been carried out in relation to a household/private individual; and
- The electrical work is found to be defective; and
- The defect is able to be remedied; and
- The electrical work was carried out by or on behalf of AJM Electrical

Product Warranties:
If we supplied a product for you (for example, a light fitting, ceiling fan, power point etc) and the product fails within the manufacturer’s warranty period, we will undertake to pursue the manufacturer on your behalf for a warranty replacement. If the warranty claim is upheld by the manufacturer, we will supply the replacement product to you.
- We are not able to offer a warranty replacement for goods supplied by the customer

Terms of claims
We cannot remedy defects or damage where:
- The cause is independent of human control
- The defect or damage is not caused or partly caused by our workmanship
- The cause is by someone who is not an employee or contractor of AJM Electrical
- The customer has failed to properly maintain any goods or follow instructions provided by us
- The customer has failed to notify us as soon as practicable after the defect becomes apparent

Labour time for Product Warranty Claims:
Where a product is found to be faulty and a warranty claim is upheld by the manufacturer, we will warranty our labour time for a period of 2 years, to install a direct replacement in the same location.This warranty on labour time does not extend to:
- Goods that have been installed for more than 2 years, even if the manufacturer’s warranty exceeds this time limit
- Any alteration to the original job brief, including but not limited to changes to the location of the installation, or installation of an alternate brand product in the same location
- Non-residential customers
